My Secret That Made Me $13,000 With One Article

February 28th, 2010 by Anne Marie Baugh | No Comments | Filed in Affiliate Marketing

Ten years ago I wrote an article (The Big Bang Publicity Campaign) that was picked up by the major online ezines. Within one month that article brought in $13,000 worth of business. This article not only was published in nearly a thousand online ezines but was also picked up and published in business magazines. Ya know, the kind you buy at Barnes and Noble. That article is still being published today. How did I do it?

It’s important to understand that ten years ago there were only a handful of ezine directories but there were thousands of ezine editors. I focused my efforts on the ezine editors and that is where you should direct your efforts now. The important thing to remember is that the large ezine editors do not have time to go sifting through a pile of articles in hundreds of directories to find you! They also don’t have to because writers like your self submit to them by email. . Don’t wait for a back-link, go directly to the source! (You will likely also get a back-link as many ezine editors also publish their articles to their websites as well as sending them to their subscribers by email.)

When you submit an article to an ezine editor the article should:

*Include a headline that will catch their attention and that of their readers.

*Be 400 words in length, but not more than 1,000 words.

*Be thoroughly checked for correct spelling and grammar.

*Be submitted in plain text.

Don’t just dump your article into an email and send it off to the editor. Address your email directly to the editor by name and write a small email to them. Ask for consideration for publication in their ezine and then tell them why their readers will benefit from your article. Give them concrete reasons for wanting to publish your work. Also, be sure to ask them to reply back to you should they select your article for publication. When they do, be sure to thank them and then put that editor in a separate list of editors that have accepted your work. While you will want to continuously submit to new editors, always submit new articles to editors that have already published your articles. Additionally, if an editor really loves your article they might ask you to write a weekly column.

Having your articles accepted into ezines gives you instant credibility. It tells the readers that you are an expert in your industry. Ezine editors generally have a very loyal audience, so when they give you the thumbs up by publishing your article, the readers follow. Your click through rates will sky rocket and the percentage of actual buyers will be much higher. Instead of hoping buyers will drop by a particular website, your article will download directly into their email through the ezine that published you.

Consider this, one ezine might have 10,000 readers. Think about how many buyers might read your article if just ten ezine editors select your article for publication!

It doesn’t matter what you are selling. It is just important that you pick ezines in the same category as your article topic and that the articles that you send to editors are top quality. Don’t use rehashed articles content. Send original work.

Repairing The Holes Of Your Rubber Roof

February 28th, 2010 by Scott Rodgers | No Comments | Filed in Work from Home

Rubber roofs are one of the most preferable roofs as they can last really long. Moreover, they can easily be repaired and put to work again in very small time. Due to this durable and hassle free qualities, it is used all over the world especially in commercial buildings.

Start off by spotting the affected areas. Clear the affected area with the help of a broom and highlight it using chalk or bright tape. With the help of a probing tool, check the seam all over. Check out for any harm to rubber joints near the vents, chimneys and skylights.

Treat the highlighted spots with warm water and then air-dry them. Now, rub the top and bottom of the seam with some alcohol. The alcohol ensures the easy removal of any debris or adhesive on the seam.

Coat the EPDM rubber adhesive to the top and bottom surface of seam. Press it down tightly and roll the silicon roller over the fresh linked seam. Roll repeatedly until the adhesive starts to set.

With the help of a probing tool, check for any further leaks after 24 hours of repairing. Also apply seam tape on the seams in order to prevent them from future leaks.

In case you want to repair a hole in the roof, you need to cut away the part of the roof that contains the hole. Secure the integrity of the substrate material in the roof. You need a replacement piece to put in the hole. You can buy it from a home improvement center. Use a sharp knife to cut it such that it fits the hole. Install it in place.

Now, cut a length of rubber roofing material of proper measurement. Clean the work site and also the bottom side of the replacement rubber material. Coat the whole bottom side of the replacement rubber material with rubber cement. When cement dries off, turn it up and coat cement on the roof opening too. Compress it tightly until it starts to set.

Always stick to the safety standards while repairing is in process. Use high quality materials to bind the rubber to the intended place.

Hey, Non MLM Opportunity Looker, My MLM Opportunity Is The Best

February 28th, 2010 by Eric McMillan | No Comments | Filed in Work from Home

I was reading through some stuff on Digg this morning and came across an article that was highlighting the 9 most poorly conceived marketing campaigns (Just type 9 marketing campaigns in Digg and you should find it). Anyway, I was reading about how these companies were putting together campaigns based on what THEY thought was going to work instead of letting their customers tell them. Hence, the title to this article. How many times have you seen people pitching their MLM opportunity to the wrong market?

As a result of that, we are going to look over the 3 most important things you must do in your marketing. Don’t waste your money and your time in the wrong places.

You must have a clear understanding of your market. If you don’t know your market demographics you will most likely end up spinning your wheels and never get any where. Do not try to sell Barbie’s to 50 year old males. Get the Point? Being in the right ballpark is a huge part of marketing.

Second, have your marketing materials in places where your target demographic frequents. Now this doesn’t mean you have to find a site that is exactly what you are targeting. For instance, if you are marketing your MLM, you don’t have to market only on those kinds of sites. People go other places online. The idea is to find where else they go. The idea goes back to presenting your offer in the right places.

Finally, we have ideas about where our target market frequents and what their demographic makeup is, we must be sure we say the things that peak their interests and speak to their ills. I am not a great copywriter, but I have been fortunate enough to form some outsourcing relationships with some really good copywriters that can handle this for me. Whether you have the means to be able to outsource or not, you must at least know the basics of copywriting so you will know if you are getting quality or just something that has been slapped together. Regardless of whether you do the writing or not, you will need to do some in depth research into your target market to find out what their pains are. You can search for some online forums and frequent them for several weeks to get an idea of what the important items are to your market. If you can understand your markets pleasures and pains you will be able to speak to that in your copywriting and have good conversions.

I have never looked at myself as a super star online marketer, but by sticking to the process above, I have been able to get things going my way. Remember, that the demographic, traffic, and copywriting research you do now is not the end all. You will need to consistently be revisiting these items and keep up with new trends in order to keep seeing success when presenting your MLM opportunity.

Key Factors In Having MLM Success

February 28th, 2010 by Jeff Sheiner | No Comments | Filed in Work from Home

Multi-level marketing is attractive because it costs relatively little to begin your own business and the fact that you can operate it out of your own home. You are probably on fire and ready to make money as soon as you sign up with the company. To have MLM success, think about putting these tips into your business plan.

The days of filling the trunk of your car with merchandise and driving around town trying to sell it door-to-door are over. You are not limited to selling your products to friends, family and people in your town. If you joined an international MLM company, you have the world at your feet, so to speak. The world is your market. Keep in mind that people in different parts of the world have different sensibilities when it comes to what is acceptable in advertising and what is not.

Along with the Internet comes social networking and video sites. So much as been written about using sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Ryze, Linked In and others to increase your business. What you must keep in mind is that each of these networking sites has a different focus, different language and an overall different feel. You have hundreds and hundreds of social networking sites that you can get involved with. Most are free, but some offer both a free and a paid upgrade option. At these networks, get involved in conversations, read what other marketers have written. Learn from their mistakes and successes so you do not have to waste time figuring everything out all by yourself.

Your MLM business will fall flat if you do not offer people a product that will solve a problem for them. If you offer them a solution to one of their major concerns at a reasonable price, you will have customers. If your item is irrelevant to their lives or if your product is overpriced, you will not make any money and likely will go out of business sooner than later.

You are the biggest factor in your own success. How determined are you to make your own business grow? Can you work alone and motivate yourself to get things done? Create a schedule, organize your contacts using a contact management system installed on your computer or one that is web based. Keep your finances in order. Continually improve your skills. If you have the motivation and determination, you increase your chances of having MLM success exponentially.

Keep in mind that no matter how talented you are or how driven you are to make your MLM business a success, it will not happen overnight. It will not happen in the first month or two unless you are extremely lucky. You need to give yourself at least a year of real business-building before you even consider quitting.

One of the biggest fears in all of network marketing is that of calling people you do not know. This is called cold calling. As difficult as it is, cold calling is one of the most used marketing techniques in the industry. If you have a fear of calling, you definitely are not alone. Every single person who has ever been involved in MLM, no matter how much money he or she made, has come down with a case of phone phobia at one time or another. Just do not let it get the best of you. And, try not to take hang-up calls personally.

Develop a plan. Where do you want your business to be in three months, six months, a year from now? How will you get there? What kinds of advertising will you do? Create a budget and stick to it. Failing to create a budget and a business plan are two other major causes of failing. Promise yourself that you will not go over your budget or use your credit card to finance ongoing expenses. Overspending on your advertising and on professional development courses is one of the fastest ways you can doom your business. It is very easy to rationalize that by spending $x amount of money on this fantastic advertising you will make $xx back and it will pay for itself. This is not necessarily the case. More often than not, you will end up with a pocket full of IOUs to your credit card company and feeling angry and discouraged because you made a bad decision.

You can build a thriving business fast and reach MLM success easily when you have the tools you need! Using the Financial Freedom Guide, you will get all the information you need to meet your goals today! Click here to get your own unique version of this article with free reprint rights.

A Lock, Key, and Renton Locksmith Company

February 28th, 2010 by Matt DeFranco | No Comments | Filed in Work from Home

Locksmiths perform numerous jobs. More times than not, they are of somewhere rekeying an ignition or unlocking the door for someone when they got locked out of a vehicle, house, or business. If you are in an emergency you most likely are not concerned about how much money you are spending. This is due to the fact that you really only care about getting rid of the problem at hand. If you are feeling this way, this article will explain average charges to help ensure you remain inside your budget and seek out a 24 hour Locksmith in Renton, WA.

A lot of locksmith companies are controlled by scam artists who attempt to cheat everyone in urgent need of a locksmith into shelling out an outlandish amount of money for something as simple as a residential lockout. Professional companies stick to an unofficial standard on how they base their charges. Locksmiths should ensure the pricing is honest and customer service is good in order to be a reputable company.

Most of the time, locksmiths provide unlocking services to residences and office buildings in the area of $10.00 to $30.00. Prices fluctuate because of the brands of locks present and does not account for labor charges. If you have an automobile lock-out, the cost will typically be slightly higher. Car lock-outs might cost around $25.00 to $60.00, without any other charges. The price increase is because car locks are designed with several forms of tools, which means the technician may be forced to use special tools to unlock the car.

However, if you have to open a more tech savvy door, the pricing will probably be slightly higher. Tech savvy locking devices include most forms of security access locks such as doors with a key pad and biometric scanning. Likes like these are a lot more difficult to get open and demand more time spent. Most good locksmiths should be able to open your door quickly, therefore labor costs should be kept fairly low.

Lastly, if you need to ask a question pertaining to prices then you should contact a locksmith in Renton. They will be able to make you a more exact price estimate.
