I announced the official launch of my new online community, Publetariat.com, on 2/11/2009. The site got over 7,000 hits in the first 24 hours following its launch, and an Alexa traffic ranking in the top 7% by the end of its first week—top 2% when adjusted for the fact that Alexa’s rankings are based on a 3-month window and Publetariat had only been live for 1 week.
